There is a shared Google Sheet that has the food information in it and is used to import new foods and update existing foods with any information that comes to light or correct any errors that exist.
You can check the “Contribute” page to add your own entries via the provided templates and instructions.
Once you add your entry to the Google Sheets document respond to this blog post and if everything goes well I’ll see the response and can perform an import to update the data.
If you would like to be a more regular contributor you can create an account and reach out to me (again, simply respond here – DO NOT provide any contact details in public view) and I will upgrade your account to be able to perform the import function yourself.
